The person behind Lean Lioness
Fitness is a huge part of who I am, but there is more to me than coaching, workouts and nutrition plans. These are a few little facts about my life, my personality and the things that have shaped me outside the gym.
Teacher
I spent seven years teaching history before fitness became the next chapter of my life.

Thailand
I lived in Thailand for a year, soaked up a slower way of life and even did a stint in Bali.

Reading
I love reading books that help me grow, and understand myself on a deeper level.

Loyalty
I am fiercely loyal to the people I love, and family will always mean everything to me.

MY STORY
From feeling lost in myself to rebuilding my confidence through fitness.

Where It Started
My fitness journey began at a time when I felt completely disconnected from myself.
After getting married, I gained weight, lost confidence and no longer felt comfortable in my own body.
On top of that, I was going through a difficult period in my relationship, and everything started to affect how I saw myself.

Finding My Turning Point
At first, I tried doing cardio like most people do when they want to lose weight, but I quickly got bored and stopped.
Then one day, I saw a woman at the gym who looked strong, confident and powerful, and I remember thinking, I want to be like her.
That moment completely changed the way I viewed fitness.

Rebuilding Myself
After my divorce, I knew I needed to make a change. During lockdown, I picked up a pair of dumbbells in my garage and started training properly.
What began as wanting to lose weight soon became something much bigger.
Fitness helped me rebuild not just my body, but my confidence, my mindset and the way I carried myself.

What Lean Lioness Means
Lean Lioness was born from my own transformation. Lean represents building muscle, losing fat and creating a strong, healthy body without relying on endless cardio.
Lioness represents the mindset shift I went through — from feeling small, shy and unsure of myself to becoming stronger, bolder and more confident in every area of life.

Why I Do This Now
I created Lean Lioness because I want other women to experience that same empowerment.
My goal is not just to help women lose weight, but to help them feel stronger, more confident and more in control of themselves.
If I can help even one woman become the strongest version of herself, then I know I’m doing exactly what I’m meant to do.

2020 🦁
The Reinvention
At 29 years old, I left my marriage, moved back in with my parents and found myself at the heaviest weight I’d ever been (63kg). Although I’d always been athletic growing up, I felt completely lost and disconnected from myself. When lockdown was announced, I made a decision that changed my life: disappear for a while, focus on myself and rebuild from the ground up.
2021 ✨
The Transformation
Over the next year, I lost 10kg and completely transformed my mindset, confidence and lifestyle. Eventually, I regained the weight, but this time as muscle rather than body fat. I launched Lean Lioness, grew a community of over 7,000 women and discovered that fitness wasn’t really about looking different—it was about becoming a different person.
2022 🌏
The Leap of Faith
I moved to Thailand alone in search of adventure, confidence and clarity. Living on the other side of the world taught me independence and resilience. It was also during this time that I qualified as a Personal Trainer after realising how much fitness had changed my own life.
2023 🚀
Turning Passion Into Purpose
After returning to the UK and struggling to readjust, I realised I wanted more than teaching alone could offer. Women who had followed my journey began reaching out, stuck in the same cycle of dieting, restriction and frustration that I’d once experienced myself. Seeing how many women needed help inspired me to launch Lean Lioness Coaching.
2024 📚
Building The Method
I returned to teaching part-time while refining my coaching systems behind the scenes. I invested in business coaching, developed my curriculum and deepened my understanding of female nutrition, hormones and sustainable fat loss. This became the foundation of the Lean Lioness Method.
2025 📸
Betting On Myself
I left teaching and committed fully to coaching. I completed my first serious photoshoot transformation, continued investing in mentorship and helped more women achieve life-changing results. For the first time, I wasn’t just building a business—I was building a mission.
2026 💪
Empowering Women Through Strength
I expanded into 1-to-1 personal training and continued growing Lean Lioness Coaching. By combining strength training, nutrition and mindset coaching, I’ve helped women learn how to lift with confidence, fuel their bodies properly and stop feeling trapped by endless dieting.
